Next session: Spring 2 begins May 4 and ends June 19, 2010.

Horse Power is a therapeutic riding program. Therapeutic riding is a widely-recognized treatment for people with cerebral palsy, spina bifida, neuromuscular disorder, autism, ADHD, Down syndrome and many other conditions. Riders improve their muscle tone, balance, coordination, and communication skills. The horse's movement almost perfectly simulates a healthy human walk-creating a natural therapy tool. The horse's rhythmical gait inspires the rider's whole body to respond. Riding generates positive physical, cognitive and social changes.
