Embodied Mediation - Summer Series

Embodied mediation is a practice of holding the questions of the mystery in enlivened awake-ness of the body.    How can we include all of our humanness in our daily life… not just the joy, peace and happiness… but all of the mystery… which also includes challenge, strong emotion, and pain? Are these not also part of what it is to be human? What if the “pleasant” was made even stronger, more meaningful by the inclusion of the “unpleasant”.  What can we know of wholeness in striving for only one end of “polarity”?  What if the poles are just there as a structure for us to stretch between?  To suspend us to experience our aliveness?

This practice is a gentle conscious navigation of our wholeness which can include breath work, movement, chanting, and quiet spacious exploration.

When we learn to hold ourselves, we are suddenly aware of how held we are.  This is an incredible gift to ourselves, to our clients, to life.

Join us as a community to explore the questions.  To hold yourself.  To be held.  And to gift to all beings this honest practice of longing to know something of the mystery.
