In Service of the Mystery

“If helping is an experience of strength, fixing is an experience of mastery and expertise. Service, on the other hand, is an experience of mystery, surrender and awe.” Dr. Rachel Naomi Remen on Service, adapted from a talk published in the Noetic Sciences Review

What does your heart long for? Do you burn yourself out? How do you stay in contact with yourself?  Are you in contact with something larger than yourself?  How do you nourish the part of deepest parts of you?  Do you feel like you have to do it all alone?

We are all in service of something each day… our career, our family, our responsibilities, our relationships.  Perhaps we can use these everyday moments to wake us up to our lives, to keep us on a living edge of our awareness, to connect us to our passion, our aliveness, our connectedness?

Through play, movement, deep presencing activities, relational cohorts, and lively group adventuring, Rebecca Harrison and Jennifer Lovejoy invite you to come and explore our relationship to service, helping and fixing.  Together we will dance into a deep exploration of our own unique expressions in these realms and explore where we can be in greater harmony with our soul’s longings.

During this one day workshop, we will join in community to make deep and loving contact with our hearts, touch the parts of ourselves that block us from intimacy with our own lives, and hold each other and our precious selves in our collective and individual journeys.  We hope you will join us.
